Location:

Broadway Terrace is a real estate district name of Oakland and is also the name of a street.  Broadway Terr.  comes off of Upper Broadway near the College Ave intersection.  The “Broadway Terrace” neighborhood is considered to be above Highway 13 and includes Broadway Terrace Ave and the streets to the North and South of it. (Aquarius Ave., Taurus Ave., Swainland, Ruthland, Leo Way. etc.)  The area is also called New Montclair by some becasue of its newer (post fire) construction.

Types of properties:

The area consists of post Oakland Hills Fire newer construction. Big San Francisco Bay views can be had from many of the area’s large homes. The area has become a trophy location in Oakland and showcases MANY different architectural styles. Home prices range from the mid $800’s to over $2.5m.

Features:

Broadway Terr. is centrally located and in close proximity to Highway 24. Good for those that commute to either San Francisco or Walnut Creek. Residents are also only minutes to the Montclair shopping district as well as lower Rockridge. The lower areas are subject to some highway noise. Above Broadway Terr. is Skyline Dr. which is an access point to East Bay Regional Parks that offer some terrific hiking, biking and dog walking trails.
