LOCATION:  Lower Rockridge is a wedge shaped area in northern Oakland between Broadway and Hwy. 24.  It extends down to 51st. Street and up to the Berkeley border (along College Ave.) 

TYPES OF HOMES:  Lower Rockridge displays some of the finest examples of Craftsmen architecture anywhere. The homes are close together so you generally get to know your neighbors.  That’s not a bad thing if you’re looking for a nice neighborhood feeling.  Some of the homes are original however over the past 10-15 years many have been completely redone with attention to retaining their charming Craftsmen details.
